The Official Rocket Across America IV Thread

I guess that I was thinking rates for my Alaska trip, where a cheap motel is in fact $131 a night or more. I forgot I was planning for the lower 48 states.

I will add that I am in on all the organized food and ride plans, this all looks fine to me. Thanks for all the planning.

yep, with the traction of a car tire and the torque of a R3T, he could have made it up the other side.... now, that would have been an awesome clip.

Triumph Demo Truck Round 2!

February 10th, 2009
Last year the Triumph demo truck came and it was a huge success. Many of you showed up to ride all the latest Triumph motorcycles and all the feedback was very positive. We’ve decided to bring the truck back again in 2009 so you all can ride the newest models and understand why we love Triumph so much as they have evolved even further since last year! The Modern Classics are now fuel injected, the 675 has been restyled visually and mechanically, there is an all new bike (Thunderbird), and the Rocket will still tear your arms off in first gear - doesn’t everyone want to try that ride out!?
The demo Truck will be setting up Friday May 8 and we will be holding demo rides all day Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th. We will post more information closer to time, but just wanted to get your mind in gear as May is really not that far off and you definitely don’t want to miss this opportunity!

I have also reached out to the marketing and events coordinators at triumph USA to let them know about our event and see if they would like to make donations of swag or door prizes to promote their brand. I will keep you posted as things progress.

I think a free Thunderbird for all captains in attendance would fit the bill!!
