The Official Rocket Across America IV Thread

1. I'm in for the longer rides. That way I'll stink more when I get back and ready to socialize.

2. Friday plans are perfect. Bringing donation for the cause.

3. Buffet by all means. Chicken substitute would be fine.

4. J Arthur's sounds good to me. Count me in.

Me, too!:D The wife and I are going to riding in on Friday.

I am in for the shorter rides, wife on back you know.
Good to go for hamburgers and hot dogs.
Buffet is a winner.
J Arthurs is OK by me.
Dave
'Im with your there Dave. There are several attractions in the area I'd very much like to see. Speaking of sites of interest: Those travelling in the vicinity of Anniston Alabama there is the Natural History Museum that is worth a visit. I guesstimate a two hour diversion at most. Also of course there is Barbers Motorcycle Museum in Leads Alabama. This could take 3 hours or more to soak it all in. I believe either is at or a tad over $10 person.

And the Grant Park Cyclorama and Civil War Museum just outside Atlanta. Atlanta Cyclorama and Civil War Museum
Herein is the world's largest painting. The siege on Atlanta with a blow by blow dictatorial.

Friday night cook out sounds good
Saturday at J. Arthurs is fine
Sunday cook out (hot dogs & hamburgers or chicken) buffet sounds good
I believe it was J. Arthurs on Sunday. And the Host wrangled BBQ buffet or plate on Saturday?
I'd vote for the buffet so I don't have to scrounge for seconds:D

I'm for the shorter rides probably . .. BBQ was changed to Sunday because it is Mothers Day . . not a good time to hit a restaurant with a crowd.

I'm for the buffet too . . .

HeR3tic, can you put together the short routes and I will incorporate them into an agenda. Also if you want me to research lunch and gathering stops I will be happy to include into your routes. If you have any suggestion please include with the route information. You can PM me the information and I will ask Pig9r to start a new thread with the agenda's for both the long and short routes. All that will be left is the reservation list for Saturday and Sundays nights events. Which we can finalize as the date gets closer.

Sounds like everyone is ok with the 15.00 buffet for Sunday. I will have our host update the menu and include in the agendas.

looking forward to meeting everyone I guess now comes the hard part waiting until May.

Kmutt great suggestion about the polls .... I am not sure I know how to set on up perhaps pig9r can help

PM me your choices and I'll set it up.

You are doing a great job getting this together BTW. Thanks for stepping up!

Once an agenda is nailed down and other particulars, PM me and I'll step up a locked thread with the info.

thanks Pig9r I think all we need is route information for the short routes and the agenda's will be finalized an ready to post. I think HeR3tic proposed a couple of shorter routes earlier in the thread that sounded great. If everybody is ok with them I will PM him to finilize the short route agenda.

I like the longer rides but my wife's back may put a limit to that.

Burgers and dogs sounds good for Friday.

The buffet with some chicken.

J Arthur's sounds good For Marie and I.
