The Official Rocket Across America IV Thread

We don't seem to be getting anywhere fast nailing down dates or an exact location.....

Which ain't exactly surprising when you recall that the thread organising RAA III finished up being over 14500 threads long!

In an effort to help Lonnie and others who have to book there 2009 vacation time in the next few days is there anyone out there who opposes RAA IV taking place weekend May 8-11th ? Please speak now or forever hold your peace!

We seem to have established that RAA IV will take place somewhere along the TN/NC border. Can we pick the western most location in that area to minimise the miles the TX and OK based have to travel?

Speaking of posse comitatus act: The US and Canadian military are said to have a cross border agreement in place. While The Consittution prohibits our own military from engaging in police actions at home, the Canadians aren't mentioned. If there's a will there's a way to get around, "that **** piece of paper".
 

The groundwork for that is written in the Patriot Act as is the coordination of troops on American soil that are unable to read or write our language..........

Just remember Kent State and the National Guard firing on students..............
 
Ok, I'm putting my name on the calendar at work for May 8th through the 11th. Glad that parts settled at least.
It only took 3 months and 6 pages , that must be a record..
So fast, and so short, oh well theres still hope cause we haven't nailed down a place to stay yet..

Thanks to everyone for nailing down a date this early, I know its hard to plan that far out but it sure helps those of us that have to schedule leave for the year in advance. I am putting down May 6 thru 18 for my vacation pick as the New Ulm Tx. BMOA event will be May 15 - 17, the weekend after RAA IV.

I'll be there whever there ends up being, I'll let you guys hammer that out since I was such a pain in the ass about the date!
