yeah FlDave, don't be riding on a wobbly tire.

A Goodyear Assurance Trippletread fits nicely 205/60/16 and it'd be broken in just right by the time you made it from FL to NC.

I have'nt seen that on a Touring, it fits? It seems like I read somwhere here that it handles ok.

Well, I hope the 40-50% chance of rain does not dissuade too many people... Someone has posted on the other site that they are probably not going....

Look at the bright side, a 40-50% chance of rain only means that there is a 50-60% chance that it won't rain. Doesn't seem too bad when you look at it that way.

But, as SCowherd has said, we won't know what the weather is until we walk outside.

from what I see we will get some rain but only about a hour or so a day not to bad for the area. Friday being the worst I have made plans for the grills to be under cover and every room has a porch with a couple of chairs. See ya in maggie valley have a safe trip.....................

For all of those that are carrying concealed into NC, it's firearms only. However, NC is an open-carry state therefore if you carry a folder, it must be visible at all times. I have mine clipped to my pocket.

Room update

I just got a message from the holiday and they have had one cancellation so there is a room open for anyone that still need one. give gabi a call to reserve she is holding open for our group.

Bike and trailer are packed, tires and oil are checked . . . new TOR's are on. Daryl is meeting Deb and I at 5:00 am in Crestview and we are on the way. Gotta run to town and get some refreshments for the trip. I think another buddy might tag along too . . Should be a GREAT time! It was supposed to rain here today too according to the local weather but skies are partly cloudy and weather is great. I just think thats what MV will be too. Ya never know.
