The Official Rocket Across America IV Thread

Looks good to me

to get the ball rolling I would like to propose the following text for the triumph events site assuming everyone thinks its a good idea. along with a couple pictures from from last years events.

May 8th – 11th Triumph Rocket III owners from across to country will descend upon Maggie Valley, North Carolina for the 4th Annual Rockets across America. Event sponsored by the members of www.r3owners.net . Enjoy the company of fellow Rocket Captains, great food and ride some of the most scenic and challenging motorcycle roads in the country. For Additional information on the event please visit www.r3owners.net or send email to scowherd@me.com

Me too! I plan to leave Lynchburg, VA. and arrive Friday afternoon, leave for home Sunday AM. Anyone still need a room mate for that time, or whats the best option still open? Look forward to meeting you guys, I spend entirely too much time with Harley riders!

Could be an option for those that aren't up for the Long route planed on Saturday.

Hi Steve
I just got all the info about the Ghost Town event I have mentioned before.

The basic info is

May 9th, benefit poker run, 42 miles 5 stops, Cost $20 per hand (includes admission to Ghost Town and dinner) additional hand $10. Passenger may ride along for $5. First bike out at 12:00 and last at 1:eek:o starts in Bethel Middle School parking lot. The poker run will end at Ghost Town in The Sky where they will do a live saloon show, gun fight and have live music and dinner. PARK WILL NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!! The whole park will not be open at this time.
Please contact Tim Sharpe for more info

Just a reminder we still have one room available three double beds in two bedroom suite.
Thank you
