Yeah got arm set, less pain but not allowed to use even my hand as there is still a little gap which Orthoped' is confident will close up as muscle swelling recedes, X ray again in Fortnight if knitting has started i will then just have an upper arm brace, if no knitting he said he might have to go in and plate it so fingers crossed
Yes she is a Sorry Sight but I am dam glad that while it was airborne and obviously tumbling that it didn't hit me or land on me, there are some heavy impact scares there

No **** man, the Rocket would not be comfortable to have bounce off your brain case

Hanso, what a terrible sight, you look a good deal better Sounds like you're getting along well enough given the circumstances.

Dang Hans, I haven't been hanging around much lately so I missed this thread. Good luck on a speedy and complete recovery. We don't bounce as good as we used to. Since you are healing I will spare ya the who-what-where routine and go back and read the thread. That way I will feel better about asking stupid questions later.........

Looks like a flat rear tire. Wonder because of the tumble or the other way around?
 
check the picture of rear rim I think those buckles in the edge of rim might give you a hint, tyre was inflated when I left road
 
depending on whether its written off, which I suspect it will be and how long I am of work I will more than likely get something smaller and lighter like a Tiger 800 XCx which I was hoping to get once I got my debt under control, if that does happen there will be some Rocket spares up for sale as I have heaps of service spares a parts but first I will have get back to work as I might end up having to live of that insurance money once I exhaust all my Leave options at work but we will cross that bridge when we get there, weird as it seems even thou I am now in a more comfortable cast I only slept about 2 hours last night ...... geeez the things that go thru your mind when you are laying not sleeping
 
Man Hanso I too have been thinking about the Tiger 800 for a while now. So many places we go have roads the Rocket can't travel on safely. Well that and we know I'm old and scrawny
