Ride
Indians and the R3 2014 Roadster + TFC
Well I’ve got a ride planned for Sunday on an 325 mile ride and the question is which bike to ride? Is it an Indian or Triumph? 325 miles in the Tn/Nc mountains and it’s going to get warm in the afternoon. I think I’ll take the Little Rocket, the TFC. No one will outrun me or out handle me in the twisties for sure. There will be two new Harleys and my wife on the Indian Challenger and maybe a guy on a KTM cruiser with his wife on the back. The guy on the KTM will push it but but not get out in front. I am the lead bike so I’ll stay out front but the KTM rider will stay on me but not get around. Yep I’ll take the Little Rocket. Rockets rule on Sunday. 😁

If that's a KTM 1290 Super Duke GT, it has 175 HP, weighs 460 lbs wet (w/o fuel), and is a beast...had one. Though with a passenger, a real disadvantage compared to Rocket without one.

The guy with the KTM is a big guy weighing over 300 pounds and the wife is a tall well built woman. That guy can really ride but the weight is the disadvantage. When he winds out he does catch up. The reason the TFC is called the Little Rocket is I also own a built 2014 Roadster and it feels so much bigger.

What's a KTM cruiser?? 🤔

Top box and panniers - I'm guessing we're talking a 1290 Adventure.
I have an 1190 Adv (actually faster 0-60 than the 1290) and I've ridden with good sports bike riders who can't get past it on a twisty road. Phenomenally capable bikes.
Which TFC are we talking?
