I'm still planning on racing then, but I'm only a few years away.

I agree with your intentions, which are pretty universal for long time riders. I'll publish our ride with George soon but let's be honest the last few years George only feels like riding once or twice a year. I think my bottom line point is don't wait too long because you never know what will come around the corner. That's it.

I hope you ride the red rocket until your 95.

I am proud to still be a pretty good rider at 78 years.
I do HATE the huge ever increasing effort nesessary to maintain the health necessary to continue a high skill level on the motor!

When the time comes that I cannot maintain what I consider "above average" mental and physical riding skills, I will quit.
I can now indeed see the end of the tunnel (riding motor) for me.
BUT, like seeing l oncoming headlights at night, the time/distance left is very difficult to determine.
I hope to break 80, but . . . . . . .
