That's all I can stand can't stand no more...

UPDATE:

After a week of no word from the dealer I finally got a call back.

They are replacing the rotor, pads and rear caliper hopefully under warranty.

Unfortunately the rear caliper for the Roadster is 3 weeks out, however they are waiting to hear back from Triumph on whether or not a R3T caliper will work.

In the meantime I'm actually enjoying commuting on the SpeedMaster. ;)

I'm afraid I can't help you on the rear caliber fitment; it's listed as a full assembly including the mounts, which make it different between models. The actual caliper could be the same but I can't tell from the parts catalogue.

Speedmaster is perhaps my favourite (small) cruiser. Wouldn't want to take one on a long trip - although it would cope - but they're a great ride for getting about. Once you get over the need for cubic inches, the engine is perfectly adequate, they handle great and ergonomics are good.

I have a broken crooked right foot
When I bought the bike they adjusted the brake pedal to make it easier for me to use with my foot,
Triumph is telling them that the initial adjustment they made could have caused the brake to drag.

Although I never noticed it until it locked up 600 miles ago and again last week.
And I've ridden that thing across 5 States

Jimbo,
Why didn't they rearrange the brake pedal position and NOT try to compensate with changing adjustment?
That sounds stupid to me - just bend the darn pedal outboard some to accomodate your clown foot. :D

Clown foot? A little harsh, I'd think if it weren't so aligned with its possessor?o_O;)
