TFC 6 weeks in the workshop oil leak

I hope they've given you a comparable replacement while you wait. Did they give you an ETA for a solution? Where was the original leak?

That just sucks..... Are those other bikes waiting for repairs also???

Hi Gregger
Yes Triumph Australia send loan bike.Triumph tiger 900 .not my cup of tea but anyway
ETA about 4 weeks or more
It's nearly 6 weeks since
I took bike twice before to change copper washer on one bolt under oil tank but that didn't helped eather
So workshop decided to change cast on top of the transmission
Which got some crack they said
So to remove that cast
Cylinder head need to be removed including petrol tank etc
So head gasket and all bolts need to be replaced with new ones
I am expecting bike to be back to me next week
(NOT HAPPY AT ALL ABOUT. NEW BIKE OIL LEAK AFTER 200KM😏😏😏 )

I like the way they designed that. Easy to get that stupid little bolt back in, that falls out of the shifter arm. I had a similar idea to cut a square opening on top of the case, and making a plate to bolt on after re-fitting the bolt.:)

Agreed but according to Ned, you still have to remove the head to get that access cover off. I hope that isn't the case.
