Tank badges coming off? Any solutions?

carefully peel them all of the way off - glean the tank & emblem with adhesive remover then re-apply double sided tape to the emblem. Re-install emblem.

Won't this method raise the sticker above the tank surface and allow water & weather to attack the double sided tape?

3M 08069 is a press and place film. Very strong and it is as thin as scotch tape. They also make a few other tapes with different thickness.

And do not forget to measure and know where the badge goes when you reapply it. Take a pix or 6.

No more than the double sided tape holding the emblem on from the factory
