Yeah, I know what you all say about November being a bit difficult for many as it is so near Christmas.

Richard, whats hot? LOL, thats right for you Canbreeanns if you see blue sky and gets over 20 thats hot right? LOL

It's a bit of a tough call in Melbourne as some of the better roads are high up in the mountains and we can get snow pretty late in the year. Trying to accommodate you wusses from up north who are too delicate to cope with a bit of a chill. Us Victorians are real men!!! We have heated grips, seats and electric clothes!!!! LOL

We could shoot for October as tends to be pretty ok then alternately March or early April.

November is a busy time for me as well hence why I only have either first or last weekend free.

Anyway, if you are one of the people who hop on and read but dont comment much, Id appreciate your contribution of what suits you best even if you just post "whatever" so that I know you dont mind either way.

Hanso, there seems to be have been a few new face at BB this year. Not sure if they all log in here or not so would be great if you could rally them up for a ride down south closer to the time. Some look as though they've done some interesting things to there bikes.

my preference would be early November or any time before that. November December is fairly busy with my Ulysses branch local charity stuff. We do rides for the Endeavour Foundation clients etc.

most of the faces that may not have seen before are the Sydney siders like Pete.Triumph, Davoscambling and partner Jo, Rcket65ride (DV8 leather and owner of the custom paint job bike with self made leather seat) and wife Maureen ( they live just out of Sydney) and the local guys "The Kiwi" (Captains Flat) and Ruzzle (up the road in Moruya) then there was also BDKcoyote (also from Moruya and not in any pictures I think) the rest (Bubz and crew) all were at Hervey Bay oh and of course our Sprint riding "Ring In" Lee from Coffs Harbour.
just a suggestion if moving it to October when they release the (I just rang MotoGP Corp to check dates and Dorna do not release the dates till feb/march) the MotoGP is normally mid October around the 17th-18 usually so if we could line it up either weekend before or after it would give some the Opportunity to see some magnificent racing done at breathtaking speeds at one of the best race tracks in the world not to mention Phillip island is a very picturesque place to look at between the RDU and the MotoGP so you could make a real holiday of it.
As I said just a Suggestion

Oh and yeah it would be good if we could organise a "Southern Get-together" at say Lakes Entrance a nice easy ride from Melbourne or Sydney early next year

I quite like the ride south and have done falls creek at 2 degrees in light rain so the weather isn't a concern. November is harder to sort a free weekend but not imposable.

I'm not a dead fish so if I swim across the flow will I butt heads?

I dont care if it is beginning or end of year I'll go with what ever is decided but would prefer it not be on the SBK or MotoGP weekends if possible, but definitely not Easter weekend there are just too many rat bags on the road at Easter
