Stalling

When i look at my source for obd codes it says clutch switch circuit.
U might want to try to start in neutral with out pulling lever if it starts then u have a shorted switch(a switch that is always on)

Brilliant! That was the one test I did not try and it failed. Thank you my friend. I called triumph to order the switch, moved my drop off date a week later so they will have the part.
Since you nailed that one, how about gas gauge showing o bars, o miles range!? Sensor?
 

I would ask the dealer to look under tank at the connector.

Now you got me wondering if that is problem with clutch safety switch, the connection. Remember engine light came on after cleaning bugs under lever,where black piece connected to wires that go through handle bar came off. I've removed and put it back, and one time after clearing error code light did not come on during extended ride. Next time it did. Loose connection?
Btw I like bike starting in neutral without clutch pulled in.
 
The old rockets will not run extra good with switch shorted.
I am thinking that the switch is stuck in
But the wires may have touched together while cleaning.

Will try moving things around, push,pull a little, clear code and see. Nothing to lose.

Turbo, there is a thin metal strip,1.5 inch long by .5 inch wide, in front of black piece at lever. Behind it there is a small metal protrusion up against this metal strip. I tried in neutral, no lever pulled in, pressing this tab closer toward me so it would touch protrusion more firmly and hit starter. No start as it should not! There is my problem. Any idea how the connection can be increased, dialectic, conductive grease on that metal protrusion? I tried bending tab toward it.
 
My observation is the stall occurs when coming to a hard stop, killing throttle to go into 1st or neutral AND rpms drop below 1k. Isn't the bike not supposed to go below idle rpm of 1k?
Never happens if I keep a slight throttle when downshifting. Will ask dealer about this.
 
After telling you (Maurice) a few days ago my Rocket hasn't stalled in a while it did it again. This time on a surface street slowing for a red light from around 55 mph. As I got to almost a complete stop with clutch in it just stopped. My speed was 05 mph. I stopped and quick started it and no problems the rest of the trip. I went in the back roads and tried to duplicate the stop around 20 times and nothing. I noticed I'm always in Sport Mode when it happens. My engine appears to run a little different in sport mode and not in a good way. The engine isn't as smooth as in the road mode and at times after riding hard it seems like it's missing. It's like it happens once every 500 to 800 stops. The chance of the dealer having it stall while riding is slim to none.
 
Mighty, when you were at 05 mph and it stopped, were you in 1st, in gear, clutch pulled in?
Appears all of us about the same, coming to a stop from pretty fast speed, using clutch. Did you catch what rpms showed as it cut out?
Mine started at same time as clutch safety switch malfunctioned.

If when slowing I go through gears 1 at a time, Quickly pull in clutch and let go, Cannot duplicate stall. When clutch in, rpms drop fast. Seems they can drop below 1k, then stall. Not positive bike did not stall BEFORE I saw rpms drop below 1k though.
We should not have this obviously. At least I have the above workaround until resolved. Still wonder if my clutch problem is related. Heck of a coincidence otherwise.
