I Actually like Helping People" It does not Make Me Feel SMARTER" and that Statement Offends me Me Dan. I have stood in the a 1/2 hour queue to send something to another Member here and to the States (and so what is the big deal on filling out the customs declaration) as I know there are some members over there that would do the Same For Me in fact I even have sent extra money to one guy because I knew he had under quoted me the shipping costs, the guys I have made the lighting relays for All appreciate the fact That I only charged the parts and rounded of the shipping in their favour, I don't do it to make money.
I am not wealthy in the money sense but I feel I like a millionaire when I speak to a few of the guys here that I would consider My Brother (and you guys know who you are) as they have extended the hand of friendship to me without even knowing me
This is probably the Best Place on the Web I have Been and I will continue to answer the Questions I can even if they are sometimes they are mundane and could easily be searched for but remember also if you cannot think of the correct Keyword you will not get a response from the "search button" I know I did have that problem when I first got on here.
I also get a lot of PM's from new people who are scared of being label dumb or stupid to publicly ask a question? are they stupid ... noway! as I used to tell the many Apprentices I have taught in my earlier career as a Baker

Does anyone think it's funny how new or prospective R3 owners will get on the site and ask questions without doing a quick search? Has no one ever heard of google, the interweb or a "search" button?

I'm all about dishing out advice, but c'mon, just do a little bit. Make an effort, guys! If you can't figure out if anyone has ever used Amsoil in their R3, well, maybe a Honda Rebel is more your style.

I'll let this one go, but how many time will we hear:

1. What is the best tire?
2. How can I improve performance?
3. What do you guys think about puttting a car tire on my R3? (That's my personal favorite.)
4. Etc., etc., etc.....

That was a rhetorical question, as I already know the answer.

But still, let's just have the mods remove the search function if no one uses it.

In the time it took you to write that you could have ignored a large number of the questions that bother you.

I don't mind newbies asking questions at all. To be honest, what I find annoying is when someone who's been on here for a while asks a question that's not only been answered before, but was answered while they've been on here. We even had someone asking a question, getting 4 pages of answers and then asking the same question again in the same thread. The problem when you're new is that you don't know what questions have already been asked - as we all know, the search function works best when you have at least some idea of what you're searching for.

It would be great if you guys would contribute to the Rocket3 Tech section. If you look at the drop down list there is a good variety of topics. I tried to put together a list of common subjects but the concept was too daunting. There is so much information scattered through this site.
