Let me know if you can tell how they wired that **** remote wire. I've read a lot about it but I don't have a definitive answer where I should tie it in. Thanks! :)

The tech told me he used a wire off the ignition itself. I haven't had a chance to lift up the tank to take a look.

Cool! Where did you get the switch? Did you hook the ground to the frame or to the battery?

If you mean me, the switch came from O'Reillys and we grounded at the battery. I tried hooking to the ignition first time out but the amperage would not run the Ultras making them cut in and out.

Yeah I did mean you. I'll check it out. Thanks! :)

My J&M speakers.....I just hooked the fused "hot" wire directly to the battery. I spliced a simple waterproof switch into the hot lead and hooked the ground wire to the frame. My speaker amp does not turn off with the key....I just have to remember to turn the switch off when I get off of the bike.
I love the J&M speakers. Best "add on" bike speakers I've ever heard.

Having a switch wouldn't be a big deal for my rear amplifier as I already have a remote switch in the trunk for the front one. Maybe I'll just do that. I'm waiting for the wiring kit in the mail as I wanted to make sure I had the right wire for the job. I'll let you know how it goes.
