OK - In all the hullabaloo and jolly japing - I have lost sight of a very simple fact. Where EXACTLY are we heading to on the 2nd (after we meet up at Rownhams)?
I have a mate (one of R3 "Old Guard") who may decided to come along too. And maybe a couple of the Buell hardcore "Southern Posse".
Just spent the morning proofing my Leathers. Because - let's face it! - It is going to rain at least one day whilst I am over.
This will also be the first long run with my layered riding gear system. Yeah - I know - it'll all end in tears.

Right, as far as I can make out, this is the itinery.
10.00am - Southampton area guys are meeting at the Rownhams sevice area - Eastbound. From there travel to Whiteways Lodge Café Bury Hill. Brighton and London guys are meeting at Bury Hill at 11.00am - we should all meet at the same time. From here it was suggested that we ride over to Destination Triumph at Wickham, (just north of Fareham) to badger the crap out of them for details on the new Rockets, and loop back to Bury hill via Loomys café. Dispersion into the winds and homeward bound! Anything different anyone??

Phew so I'd remembered that correctly.
Don't forget the So'ton guys may have a huge encumbrance - Some twit on foreign plates.
I have one tiny question - Are we being responsible and TeeTotal?.
I am nervous when it comes to English Coffee. Mainly because it is usually absolute crap. Our American cousins can stop laughing - theirs is as bad if not actually worse.
I may need a Cider with my food. See! - I have my priorities crystal clear.

Word of warning to all. Bury Hill is a very popular destination and meeting place for motorcyclists on a Sunday. Due to residents complaints, the speed limit has been reduced to 50mph on all surrounding rounds. As such, Mr Plod sets up speed cameras on all approaches AND on the exit routes. A favourite is up the hill towards the café and at the bottom of the hill heading north. Last twice I have been to the café, unmarked cars have been having a few quiet words with guys on the side of the road. You have been warned!!
