Or up to 6K Miles, that must have been in the Winter.
I see Guys getting over 10K Miles and wonder how on Earth? Concrete Freeways ? ***** footing around.

The up side is there's plenty of go hard grip.

And your commuting run is really short.
There was some experimenting close to where I work with some different surfaces - to avoid ice based accidents. One was so aggressive that Taxi Drivers would take a different slightly longer route and not charge clients the extra time/mileage - just to avoid the tyre wear. This was before I had the R3. When teh bus company started to complain - they had to resurface again. Reduced tyre life by half.
