I recently watched a youtube.com video where a guy dumped his brand new Goldwing and blamed Honda for their, "100% design flaw." I took that to heart and from now on I blame my screw-ups on 100% design flaw. Just a suggestion, when in doubt.

Hey Kevin, can post a pick of the failed damper showing the incorrect assembly ? The bearing and gear moved out and that caused gear to push compensator ramp which pushed sleeve onto shaft, locking it in position never to return home. ( until i get it apart and introduce it to my 2lb hammer)
