Do you have one heat shield or two? Mine came without them. I've seen pics with two of them. Your's appears to have one.

It just came with the one...I looked on ebay about getting another one ...they have them pretty cheep but decided to go back to stock...wife doesnt like the loudness...lol

Craig if its the noise that bothers the wifey put a baffle on the end of the bugger.

Even the three inch open wrapped baffle took some of the bark away on mine. If you want more run their full baffle.
Here is the full one without the wrapping on it.

This is what I use on mine.

I am not sure but on the full one I think only the 3 inch section is wrapped.

Oh and the end cap which they make in a couple different finishes.

There are several baffles to make the pipe as quiet as you like there is no need to get rid of the exhaust
