Any of the BlueTooth adapters listed on the TuneECU site will work -- they're diminutive and powered by the OBD II port, and easily sit under the left cover (see other threads about securing the covers). I bought -- as reported elsewhere -- one of the BT adapters and it worked fine, but the TuneECU map edit functions were grayed out, and go back to the site and see where Alain had "hidden" a caveat that "Yes, TuneECU works with these adapters but you can't reprogram the ECU with them". Grrrrrr

In that long page, roughly in the middle, there is a list of bikes on which the Android version of TuneECU works.
About a third of the way down that list is the Rocket III, with a red asterisk -- I totally missed the first time around.
Yes, I went with the LX BT adapter, only because of the ones on the list, that one was the least expensive -- around $50 on Amazon.
When I was all ready to load @HansO 's tune and it wouldn't work, I was about to send Alain a nasty email, when I looked again at the site, and saw the red asterisk notation at the bottom of that list: "* With Bluetooth connection, reading and reprogramming map functions are not available."

One on the left handlebar for a 5" Garmin GPS, one in the middle for a 5.5" Android GPS/Speedometer readout and on the right handlebar I have my Iphone 4S setup for music and communications. Most people comment that my bike has more gadgets then their car. I'm a nerdy techy guy so this all comes natural. Using my SENA bluetooth headset I can press the phone button and have SIRI do things for me that I can't do with my hands like make calls, add events to my calendars, set reminders ETC.. its really great.
