Sooo,
Dealer said they basically took the Throttle Bodies apart, cleaned them and the TPS, and then reprogrammed the sensors and now it works fine.
Their diagnosis is that the TPS (throttle position sensor) went out of spec at one point and then came back into spec. When it did, even though it was reading true, the throttle bodies were not aligned to the TPS and the secondary throttles were staying completely open.
After cleaning and reloading the software a couple of times (based on input from Triumph) they say the system is realigned and working fine. They checked the ECU, Throttle Bodies and TPS thoroughly.
I am not super excited about the answer as nothing was really “Fixed” per se, but I guess that is the way it goes with Software driven bikes.
