nothin' much to look at.
I was on the porch drinkin' a beer with my oldest son,
but they went over......His wife was about to cry...
cops and people runnin' all over telling folks to take cover,
no big deal, folks get real excited so easily.....

yeah righhhhhhtttttttt ..........don't think so, Twenty year ago we went thru one when we lived down in Merimbula (about 3 hours south of us) it was a Freak one that came in off the Ocean about a kilometre (about a 3rd of mile) north of where we lived did a big half circle ripping the town centre apart and quite a few homes went across the lake just missing the airport and went over a bit of scrub then back out to sea about 2 kilometres south of us, The noise was crazy loud and there was debris everywhere there was a piece of heavy duty roofing steel (Stramit) 60ft of the ground wrapped around a tree the winds were nearly blowing in our windows and we were a distance away from its centre. I was watching from inside and it looked like fireworks were going off downtown till the Power died
Nah.. No thank's don't want subject Ann to something like that again, scared the living daylights out of her and I'll admit I wasn't to happy about it either
I am back safe too. Played touch and go with the bad weather but only got two drops of rain. Wind gusts, well that is another story....I hear the alarm going off on the radio in the other room as I am writing this... Will update you all in a few.
It was just a tstorm warning headed our way. No tornado but the system is supposed to hang around over night. Typical weather for this time of year in TX and OK
