Skidded while turning

Lol I'm looking at that too! I'm deciding between this or the Fobo.

I'm a geezer and bending over to fill my tires is a pain in the back!
I've had the Fobo system for a season now and it works great. Will not ride without it in the future.

Your front wheel produces about two-thirds of your motor's stopping power. What is ironic is that it will only skid a short distance before quickly planting you and the motor on the pavement. Practicing threshold braking with the front brake is especially critical in order to achieve anything close to maximum stopping power. This point alone is one of the huge advantages of ABS!

After some bad back brake lockups on my 08 Touring, I'm a believer in ABS as well as Avon Cobra tires...

IF anybody is interested in learning more regarding the stopping ability of motor riders (NOT the motor's ability) let me know at 1olbull@gmail.com. I have a good informative research paper that I shall send you.

Glad you're ok. Scuff it, fill wth spot putty, paint it with that beetle juice paint...... Or black

Good to hear minor scuffs to bike only. Tip-over crash engine and rear bars rule and have saved me a couple of times already with stationary tip-overs. I got Garmin TPMS ordered yesterday too with a Zumo 895LM.

Or cover it with vinyl of any color - they even have 'Xmas beetle color shift' and chrome options now I think. Do a search of forum threads for info.
