Dealer set my service due date as April 5. I bought the bike in winter and haven’t had it out yet. Only 3 miles on it. The little wrench icon is on. Is there a way to reset it? Or is it just easier to ride the first 500 miles with light on and wait for first service

Check the date they set in it, the year could be off like mine was. Also, TuneECU can be used to reset the service wrench without any remapping of the ECU. All it takes is an Android phone/tablet and a wireless OBD link after purchasing the software. Tightening the battery terminals solves a lot of the issues.

buy tools to reset the light on your own or run with it like that no issues.

There are two tools which can do that, I have both tools with me
A Tuneecu.net uses Bluetooth adapter + android device
B dealertool.co.uk uses USB cable + windows laptop
