I got offered to ride new Hayabusa - 20 years ago that would of been superb, but now - back, knees and wrists say don't do it. This getting mature sucks...
Hats off, Cooter! I'm 69 and "retired" in May. Last month I got me a Suzuki Boulevard M50 (6 years to the day I got my Rocket) for when I think I need to downsize for good. Not about to give up my Rocket yet, even though it is a bit of a pain backing it out of the garage. Once on the road though, there is just nothing to compare. I'm not a hard core rider like most of you guys, either. Just hop on them for and hour or two tops. Take a ride to get a donut various places and distances depending on my mood. That's my "excuse".
You in the 70's guys are my hero's! Hope I can keep on going as long.
All the best to ya, Cooter!
I'm fighting age as well.
Still riding my 200 WHP roadster at 77, but I CAN see a smaller motor in the future closing in on me.
I can't do anything about getting older, BUT I can refuse to grow up!!!
