Sad but grateful...

Chris, you will ride over the same horizon one day and there he will be. He and you have your best rides yet to come. This post has introduced us to a father we may all admire, and aspire to be, and to a son such as we would all wish to have.
Very nice.

I know we do not know one another, however I must say that you are blessed for knowing the man you shared with us. I too have lost a great Father in my life. I will have a prayer tonight with you in mind. May you know you have been loved and cared for by a man that can only be called your Dad. May God Bless you and yours.
Thanks @Rick Morris appreciated.

Stay strong today Clay, but don't be afraid to shed a tear, you will never forget this Day so Celebrate his life with your Family and Hug your Brother as I did mine years ago.
Thanks @cusso ken we all contributed with words and momentos. Very proud of my Mum, two Brothers and Sister as well as my Wife and Kids and Grandkids. They all spoke wonderfully with strength and compassion. Obviously most of all I am proud of my Dad. Chris

May your Dad rest in peace, Clay.

You will find peace in your heart and mind's eye because of the experiences you shared with him and the memories they made.
