Scott you know that I am from noble blood not the thin watery polish stuff but the good oxo fed Scottish stuff so how can I possibly use black electrical tape on my bike it would be so beneath me, plus I ran out of tape putting my LEDs on:eek:
Ok I didn't realize you used it up. But hey simce you a plumber you can always use plumbers putty. You can even spray paint it to color match. Just make sure you spray it before you put it on the clock:)

why bother it is soooo tiny hardly visible .. I do not think it is safe to try to read the gear you are in while moving due to the size of the digit:mad:

Patrick, my Friend,
Not everyone has your OLD eyes . . .

First thing I did was put a tach on my Touring, too. I rode a 4 speed Kawasaki for about 5 years without one, but always wished it had it.
I wanted a Rocket classic mainly for the 240 rear tire and the tach, but got a sweet deal on a 2010 R3T.
I don't get the tach-speedo gear thing yet, but I often discover I have an extra gear to use when over 70 MPH on this touring!! :)

When Tach reads almost 3000rpm and speedo 70mph = 5th gear , see simple
