I washed my bike today knowing fully well that it's going to rain from the time I leave my driveway till I get to "Leaky Springs "(borrowed from Flip, don't want to be like Bidden and not give credit where it's due). Asking myself all the while, "Why are you doing this"?

Washed mine yesterday and I am going to have Heather start packing tonight.
Goodfellow you still trailering? It never rained a drop here and if the storm keeps traking north east we will be in good shape no rain after tomorrow and even tomorrow is only 30%.

I'm thinking that we're gonna ride through this, rain or shine. I couldn't find a dually trailer,so .... I can't stand the thought of saggin behind you and heather. so it's gonna be side by side or nada. I'll give you a shout wednsday evening when we get to league city.

I got all my clothes and stuff packed, but didn't get to wash mine this weekend. So, guess what I will be doing Wednesday evening.. I have class tonight, so won't get home until 10:00PM or so...

Tail end madness

I took my lady in to work yesterday and had no problems. Today we get the tail end of Gustov and all hell breaks loose. Buckets and tornado warnings worse than yesterday. Looks like Ak is in for a real gully washer. Bridges may be comprimized only time will tell. Got 2 inches all day yesterday and 3 so far and it isn't even noon. Roll up your dainties ladies it's gonna get damp out there.

FYI . . NWF bunch (and everyone else) I am going to have to wait until the last second to see whether or not I will be able to make ES. If this NEW storm is to reach the gulf by sunday . . I have to stay home. I cant expect my neighbors to take care of the horses with a storm on the way. I'm not thrilled about the prospect of having to stay behind but . . . not much I can do.

I understand that. I have 4 horses as well.. Want one?.. lol That usually keeps either me or my wife at home to tend to them. Worse than children, I tell ya..

Booger, I didn't think the new storm (Hanna) was suppose to hit the Gulf, I thought it is going to head northeast up the east coast.
Which side of FL. you like on, east or west?

Florida is skinny enough that it doesn't matter what side it gets hit on, the whole state still gets hit.
