Absolutely a big torque boost and the bike is so much easier to ride now. Really pleased. Wet here at the moment. Just needs a small twist of the throttle at 2k rpm in 5th and the wheel spins. It's most noticeable 1,500-3,500rpm. Love it!

Yeh big kel just put mine on very nice indeed you wont be dissapointed have uploaded pics in gallery you can have the can as long as you want as well I have the short ones loud as when you nail it nice at high way speed

I read this thread from front to back and now the bug has bitten , i would like to have these on my bike before my Birthday ( march ) .
I like the standard roadster pipes, could they be modified to fit these headers , offer an increase in performance , sound good and look good ?

If you get the header with the 1-3/4 tail pipe they will fit straight up. Or if you went with 2-1/4 you would have to get a custom crossover pipe made. That would get rid of the weird box thing under the bike too.

That's what I did - of course I didn't have a "weird box thing" (Bruce, you keep baffling me with technical jargon :p) to worry about. Fitted perfectly.
