I'm brand new to this forum, and am strongly hoping on making a Rocket 3 my next bike this spring.
One of the criteria I need to confirm is whether or not it will fit on the back of my Nissan Frontier pickup.
The bed length (with the tailgate down ) is 94 inches.
I have a Black Widow 40" wide by 8' long ride- up ramp, and am hoping this behemoth of a bike can fit!

You better make sure your tailgate can handle it. The tailgate on my Tacoma is not structurally sound, it'll bend and probably crease if I loaded my Rocket onto it.
The Yapense are not making tough bodied trucks these days. The same can be said probably for domestic manufacturers as well...
Thanks for all the replys guys...
I guess I feel a bit more secure knowing the bike will fit, but a possible "creased tailgate?" Not sure I feel comfortable with that scenario. Maybe a piece of plywood over the gate to distribute the load more evenly?
Some info about myself:
I live in Jackson, New Jersey.
Previous bikes were a Suzuki SV650, a Honda 919, and a Honda CBR 1000...
and if all goes well--- hopefully a new Rocket Roadster.
That could still put a lot of weight on the hinges and braces. What about a plank/loading ramp running lengthwise under both wheels - and maybe the ply on the tail gate for good measure?
Better still, ride it home.
Welcome to the site from down under - and hopefully to Rocket ownership.
