Rocket reverse

I was looking to buy one till I test rode a Rocket the rest is history, assuming you are talking about the older 1500cc model Jim, they were not a bad bike as they didn't have all the bells and whistles that belong in a car

I was thinking of adding one of the older ones to my stable, if I could get it at the right price.

So far there isn't a bike out there I'd replace my Rocket with...

I have duck legs but front brake and pushing down on handle bars and releasing brake on upwards bounce works for me

Who says Rockets don't have a reverse. Had to back out of a tight spot. Everybody has probably done it. Clamp the front brake, dive forward, jerk back on the handlebars while letting off the brake. Backs up 2 inches each time. People look at you like you are having a seizure.

So if you get a bunch of rockets around doing the above is it called a circle jerk...

With a bike the size of the R3 you just have to get used to scanning the area for the right place to park every time you pull over. I saw an ad the other day to turn certain model HDs starters into a reverse gear for big $$$.
