Who says Rockets don't have a reverse. Had to back out of a tight spot. Everybody has probably done it. Clamp the front brake, dive forward, jerk back on the handlebars while letting off the brake. Backs up 2 inches each time. People look at you like you are having a seizure.
I wonder why the Rocket doesn't have reverse. The Gold Wings have them and all it really consists of is hitting the reverse button (engages a relay I believe) then you hit the starter button which is now going in reverse (by reversing the current???) and then it moves backward. I love my Rocket Touring but one thing I do miss from my Gold Wing days is that reverse gear because in a graveled parking area it makes moving a lot of weight so much easier.

Not at all. Goldwing reverse works very well. So does the 4 speaker radio, CB radio, intercom, tape/cd player, real cruise control, air ride suspension, linked brakes, a real passenger seat and all the extra light you can use. Did I forget anything ?
