Rocket R and Rocket GT video

As predicted:
66" wheelbase, 0.7" shorter
139mm trail down from 148mm.
27.9 degree rake down from 32 degrees.

Those numbers pretty closely align with what you get on a roadster using 240/55R16 and 140/75R17 with 1" longer shocks.

So it'll be about as agile as the bike many of us already have, similar weight after swapping the roadster cans out, with a narrower power band and 6th gear.

OK, I feel better now about not being able to afford one. But, if money were no object....

Haha precisely!!

There's naturally a massive list of questions regarding the swing arm swap, but I'm excited to have a look and see if it's possible.

Tire changes would be so easy and the R wheels look to be drastically lighter than the RIIIR wheels.

I like it and I'm 66. The only issue I see is that Triumph is more interested in looks than function.... especially when it comes to the touring model. The bags are small, windshield non existent, pillion pegs too high.... but if I was to purchase, it would be the GT. I could live with the small GV bags provided.

Remember that the older model was considered butt ugly by many (not me) with those bags that didn't really do the bike justice in the looks department but held a fair bit.

I wonder what Corbin will do with this bike..... What will their new Beetle bags and fairing look like on this beast???
