I dont understand what's wrong with a cruiser design. Why does everything have to look like a weird alien sportbike hybrid

I've suddenly got that feeling you have when you turn over two pages of a book by mistake and cannot figure out what is going on!

I though the "new" rocket was going to be a limited run (750) and that was it - now all of a sudden there's variants?
 
The Triumph Factory Custom 'TFC' is the limited edition, big bucks machine.
To be followed by the regular production bikes, the R and GT.
That has always been the plan since announcement.
