I have seen the envelopes with the rings in them, but not inside the envelopes. I'll try to stop by with a camera and post my findings. Thanks for your posting Hanso. I don't blame anyone for being upset. I'm close to the shop and understand how people further away could be upset. And Jim, her mom was the one that took her to the bank. The bank is next door to the shop.

Well if we are pushing the conspiracy that far then he sent his ring to skip and it's the only one that was made .
It was his jeweler to begin with

I asked her yesterday to post something. The ring I have was of the 3rd casting.
The first one that was finished. I just don't know what to think, Jim. If anybody wants to call me, please feel free to do so.

So what did you think of your ring skip was it worth the ridiculous wait and good quality or was it just second rate and run of the mill

Well, the ring looked good all in all.
it wasn't perfect, but it was a good rendering of "our" design on top.
The side with the 2300 cc's was good.
The side with the pistons wasn't as "exact" as I'd like, but it's decent.
The paint, I'm redoing in epoxy.
So all in all, for a custom made ring from a picture,
that was hard to reproduce in metal,
sort of like taking HellFire's tattoo in ink,
and turning it into thread for a patch, it's not exact.
But then, nothing in life is perfect,
Overall it's good quality and I'm happy with the results.

I know your shoulder is messed up and your going thru some problems making it difficult to get the rings finished in a timely manner .
To make it easier on you just send me my ring and I will finish it myself .
Keep the engraving fee and toss my ring in the mail, if this is not acceptable, send me a money order for the cost of my ring .
I am sick and tired of waiting and getting no response from you.
We have long winters and lots of time on our hands as you can only polish a motorcycle so much,so I might as well spend some time polishing a ring .
My Minnesota nice is done !!!

I expect a ring (finished or not) or a money order for the cost of the ring within the next week.
 

If you paid with a credit card or paypal you can dispute the charges with them ... has anyone tried to call Her or the shop with an ultimatum. Leaving messages in this thread does not seem to be getting anywhere. According to her profile she has not logged in since 11/10/2011
