what did you say that you are a what a ......fussy prick triumph actully calls it " "Claret" which is a deep red wine
 
I think the colour is cardinal red from memory for the slower rockets and phantom black for the super fast ones I've even heard of people fitting car tires to the slower ones to stop them falling over hehe just ribbing ya

Hey I think you will find those slower red rocket were fitted with silver motors not the awesome black motor only found in the later "Claret" red as just quote to me by Peter Stevens National Parts Manager who looked up the vin no and the british techincal parts list and confirmed it is called

I know Claudia does not watch this thread at night, or after 4:00 or so. Out here we didn't get high speed until 1 1/2 yrs ago. They just started running fiber optic down her way last week or so.
 
I know for sure our bikes aren't Cardinal Red - they are the older slower models as Hanso says.

I do notice that BURGUNDY is on the list..............pretty sure that's the colour on my rego papers come to think of it.
