Rocket Crashed and Totaled

o_O's speaking arabic got to do with anything?

"The Lord is in control of all" and "Inshallah" - "God willing" or "if God wills".

Arabic speakers are just an example of the diversity of people sharing the same belief. Believers tend to think their beliefs are different or unique to their culture and religion. But it is a fairly universal concept shared by many cultures and faiths, especially those essentially believing in the one God Jews, Christians and Muslims - its only the interpretation of the prophets etc that differs. Even believers in multiple Gods like Ancient Greeks, Romans, Hindus etc were/are likely to ascribe 'events' to the intervention of greater beings, individual or groups in a pantheon of Gods .

They cannot all be right, I just believe things happen and you make risk assessments and take actions to increase or reduce them and deal with events as they occur.

:):):)All I can say is this: Quote, from Hunter S. Thompson: “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

All I can say is this: you should read an entire thread before posting     :banghead:

Hunter S. Thompson was a pickle short of a barrel, a one legged duck circling a crocodile. He lived 70 miles down the road and I have friends who knew him personally. He may have fried his mind, but he is dead and in dying was a long way from skidding in sideways in a cloud of smoke (other than the cloud within the confines of his drug induced dimentia). Further, he died silently without proclaimation of heroics or grandure, no noise at all. Sadly, he died alone and without recognition except by those who had read his book.

This thread however, was initiated by a man who did slide in (litterally) in a cloud of braking tire smoke, doing so loudly, with what I am sure was proclaiming foul statements immediately prior to impact, and heroically survived to share his new found insights with his peers.

Cheers Mike, you have successfully surpassed Hunter S. Thompson!!!
