Glad to here your OK and have the trophy. How do your buddies take the 'Union Jack' helmet on an American Legion Flag waving event? I suppose it wasn't a 'Rising Sun' and it has been a while now since 'The War of Independence'.

Trikes are not safer than bikes, they look safer to people with little or no riding experience. They have a larger footprint, are underpowered, and tend to try to throw the rider off in tight turns. True they will not fall over at a light so if falling over at a light is a likely occurrence, then a trike will be better. Once its moving it is less safe. Glad to hear Mike is OK.

We came from the Britts, started our own country, learned how to speak the language correctly and now they are our good friends!

Any accident you can walk away from is just a lesson in life. Metal can be repaired but severe injuries after a certain age are more difficult to heal. You will ride again - Rocket bug is hard to shake. All the best mate from over here.
