Hi all been a trumpet rider most of my life T140v bonnie at 17 76 model Adventurer 900, Sprint 1050 and now the Rocket 2006 i'm second owner 5k on clock TRIBAL BLUE.
HAD BIKE ONE DAY TOOK FOR mot GARAGE KNOCKED IT OVER.

Sorry to here about your bike Ken..Not sure of the answer to your question but sure that someone on here will know.

The big issue is Caeruleus blue paint not available, tank dented rear guard dented, cowl cracked, foot brake bent, indicators right.
If anyone got parts please let me know.
Gutted.
Any upgrades you can advise.
Regards
Ken

That is a sad way to get started on the RIII. Your original post was a bit ambiguous, did the garage knock it over? If so, then shouldn't hey be paying for th damage?

Yes I would say if it was the Garage that did it your in for some new tins and parts. Even if you can't get the blue you might get a complete set of the Phantom Haze.

Sorry about your misfortune, and welcome to the site. Make sure you get at least the front crash bars, they would have prevented a lot of the damage to your bike. Not sure if they have rear cras bars for your model.
Good luck getting her fixed up. If you can get a paint code they should be able to match it up pretty good.

i have front and rear crash bars and have dropped it several times with no damage.
my handle bars do not touch my tank when turning.
took out a chunk out of my shield when i let it fall into the gas pump.
might look here. http://www.r3owners.net/forums/classifieds/

Front crash bars make a huge difference. I dropped mine in my driveway last week (first time since I got it almost 4 years ago and it SUCKED!) and I would say 95% of the weight was on my left crash bar. I have the beetle bags and I will need to get some paint touched up but I was very surprised that the bag did not crack. It tells me that the bar did a great job of holding up the bike. Nothing else even touched pavement.

Garage not insured very slippery, so all down to me to fix, in the UK to many people with no ins, could take owner to court but that costs here, so £1000.00 legal fees to get what back!
