I almost have all of the parts on hand to upgrade my 2013 Roadster. The plan is to install triple K&N 's, Jardine Rumblers and a PCV-AT. I have the filters, and the pipes and PCV should be in this week. I am soliciting advice on what to do next. As I see it my options currently are:

1.) Install all of the parts then take it to the dealer for whatever tune they use on this type application.
2.) Install all of the parts then download TuneECU, beg for help on this forum since I'm a neophyte when it comes to tuning with a computer and hopefully not screw up my bike.

Any thoughts?

Doesn't the PCV-AT auto tune to the optimum fuel mixture? If that is true, you shouldn't have to make any othe changes? Someone with a PCV-AT can verify. If AT doesn't adjust enough for your set up, you will want to take it to a dyno shop and get it mapped using the PCV.

I run Jardines and a PCIII. Haven't made the jump to triple filters, just an underseat K&N. At first, I ran DynoJet's fuel map for Jardines in my PC-III and it did okay. But then I took it to a local shop with a DynoJet dyno and had them tune it. That made a HUGE difference. That's been a few years ago and I still run that tune.

With TuneECU you can raise the RPM limit, remove the speed limiter, and many other things. You can also load a custom map ( eliminating the need for the PCV ) but since you have the PCV, you won't need to do that. TuneECU is a great troubleshooting tool that reads error codes and such.

I did much the same ... fitted triple K&N filters after replacing the timing chain on mine. Had been running around with TORS tune with my 3 into 1 exhaust. Took bike down to Pro Tune and had it dynotuned .. never run better or smoother. Money well spent i reckon.

R3Tex,
You have done all the good stuff! Now:
1) Get Tune ECU set up on your lap top.
2) Get the Hanso Hot tune.
3) Load up and ride, BABY RIDE!
I did all this on my 2012 R3R (except for TORS) and absolutely love the difference.
Save your money for that 10K service job.

Can you please guide me to where to buy these parts (triple K & N)'s and which specific mufflers to buy? I want to upgrade my bike too but don't know where to acquire the parts and directions for installation. Thanks!

Sidecar Flip (Flipmeisters Specialty Products) sells the filter kit that contains all 5 filters or you can try and buy them separately at almost any of the online auto parts sites, pipes can be had on several websites as well as the PCV-AT. Strangely enough the dealer where I bought the bike was the cheapest source for pipes and PCV-AT (probably because I pitched a ***** about his dyno costs and the fact that the last two orders for RZR were wrong) so I order them through the dealer.

:D couldn't have said it better myself 1olbull, now R3Tex send me a PM with your e-mail address and get you organised a suitable base tune using TuneECU, this will fix restrictions and my AFR map for your PCV + AT so she will really booogey along:cool:

HansO,
Thank you for the kind words.
AND thanks for the OZ Cooler. The wife saw it and immediately put the grab on and took it for her own. One funny thing was she said she "Liked the English motif."
I corrected her, explaining that it displayed the colors of OZ. Naturally that required me to explain OZ. Right after I finished my lecture, she observed and pointed out to me a tag which read, MADE IN CHINA.:confused::D:roll:
