Roadster tank

Hi brains trust,
Do we think a fuel tank from a roadster would fit a touring? without too much ****en around, I'll move the key, and change the dash, I mean the mounts, I understand it'd be a monumental task, but short of modifying the touring tank to fit proper size filters in, it would be the best option, hope all that makes sense..

Yeh if I can figure it out, would be seat and all change. Will have to look at the 2 side by side.
