Roadster mufflers on a touring?

First, what I've been able to glean from the website and pics;
1. The roadster still has the cat in front of the rear tire.
2. The collecter/cat box is a different configuration from either the R3/Classic or the touring.
3. The angle of the pipes is not parallel to the ground like on the R3T.
4. The width of the cans appears to be roughly the same diameter as the touring.

SO,,,,,, IF the diameter and clamping are similar to the touring then the cans might fit on a touring model. They would be slightly shorter than the stock cans. Retro-fitting a set of Roadster mufflers on a touring model (if possible) would elliminate the cat and open up the exhaust for that more "aural experiance". Roadster take-offs would probably be cheaper than an aftermarket set. So what does everybody think? Feasable or not?

Might wait a while and see if Triumph comes out with TORs for it. You know if there's money to made in accessories, Triumph will go there eventually.

I don't think there's any shortage of aftermarket pipes. I think I'd look at something that didn't have to be modded.

I don't think those are Touring pipes on the new roadster, they look alot fatter to me.

I'm with you Hellfire, those are not R3T pipes.

I think I am going to have to go to the dealership and check the Roadster out when they get one in.

Just don't go to your dealership before probably December, being a 2010 they probably will take their sweet time getting to the dealerships. Of course with me being over here....what do I know, you guys will see it way before I do if it does come out earlier.
