Roadster fuel gauge/fuel light accuracy

Just wanted to give everybody here a heads up about the fuel gauge, especially for the R3 Roadster. A month ago when I filled up, neither my fuel gauge or range indicator reset itself as it is supposed to and has not since. I drove it about 50 miles before I called the dealer cause I thought the float was just stuck or something but it never reset. After talking to corporate, my dealer told my that they have discovered a problem with a sending unit on the new Roadsters and sent a new one before I even took it in for service. Don't know if this may apply to other R3s but just food for thought. Have not yet had a chance to take the bike in to have it replaced as the dealer is not local, but hoping this will fix the problem.

On my second fill the fuel gauge and km indicator reset after a short period but the fuel light came on and the bars disappeared at around 220km, I have done another 80km so far, so that's 300km since the fill. Have not refilled yet to see how many liters it will take but it must be around 20, it will be interesting to see.
My dealer has told me he can do some adjustment to the fuel gauge system.

I filled up this evening, traveled 319km it took 19.33liters. That's 16.5 km to the liter. That's not bad I thought, my Bonneville gets 19km to the liter.
