Revzilla has Cruisetec front & rear tires in stock.

I saw another vendor with 3 rear in stock. As long as Excedra Max is plentiful I won't be taking up valuable garage space.

So are these Cruisetec rear tires any good for normal riders ? What kind of mileage can one expect from them ? What about traction in the twisties ?
I think so. They supposedly have a harder center of the tire compound that helps with the longer mileage, but that works against it when you’re coming out of a turn and crank it. They have really good grip in the corners. But I could break it loose at much higher speeds than the Cobra when I got to the center/vertical out of the corner. The Cobra has better grip and is much more consistent across the face of the tire but wears pretty quickly because it is so soft/grippy.

I think the Ctec would be a better tire for someone who cruises a bunch and hoons occasionally. I’ve zeroed out my B trip meter for the first time on this new Cobra rear. I will keep track of the miles and then do the same for the next CTec tire. I put over 25K miles on my bike in a year and only about 200 of those miles were interstate. I might not be the right guy to ask about tire longevity.
