I'm not seeing the g853/g852 (whichever is the front) available in our size 150/80/17. So are people just running the g701 (rated at H, not V)?

I am. I don't come anywhere close to needing the V rating. Mostly twisties

V = 139 149

I put an Excedra Max on my rear about 5 years ago and put one on my front in May. No problems at all. Got them both from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC.
I took my wheels over to their warehouse/outlet store and had them put them on. Good folks, there!!

V is 149, which makes sense for the R3 since stock, the bike caps out at 145. Or so I've heard.

Got me a Cruisetec gonna give it a go. The old ME880 Marathon is almost bald, had a few slippy moments in roundabouts. You can see it's worn into a V

My front wore funny in the end, but I did like them generally. A bit pissed on the non-availability and the could give a $hit attitude of the company, so back to Exedras for now.

****, you sharpened it to a point? I got three months on my Cuisetec. It performed well, I was very happy with it, but I am going to slap on a Cobra that I have stashed. Kevin told me last weekend that this will be the last run on that tire. Yeah, got home 250 miles later, yeah, donezo.
