Yeah, I know, I'm such a muppet, you live and you learn aye
And thanks all, for going through the motions with me, I've come around to the fact that the back firing is just part of the result of the exhaust design now...and that not a lot can be done about it....but hind sight is a wonderful thing
I guess I got carried away with all the tuneecu goodness and got messing with toys! The trouble is when you read so much of adding fuel to a map or turning off the O2 sensor or going PCV will fix decel popping etc you get to thinking a solution might actually be obtainable, maybe borderline cases are fixable where things are not quite right, I don't know, but this is far from borderline
Atleast the exhaust looks good and didn't cost me what it will when/if it retails...and I've learnt a lot going through the motions, so thanks again
I now have a much better idea on what the longer term mods are that I'd like to see on my bike, but for now I'll be keeping things simple and just concentrating on using the clutch and brakes on decel in and around my local urban area
I'm such a engine braking fan though....it makes for lots of back firing haha
