Record run for Rocket 3 at Bonneville Speed Week 2024

I was told last year, while down there at the salt, that the salt has a coefficient of friction of .4g. That there is about the same as fresh snow! Thus why top end at Bonneville is exponentually more difficult than on pavement. This equals considerably larger balls and less sense!

I think once you run on the salt you understand why the speeds are 8 to 10 mph slower than on pavement. I have been certified as not being the sharpest tool in the tool box so I'm a perfect rider for the salt

Hey Jerry, great job, the underhook on the left was new i believe to other videos ive watched of yours, was that a new technique or just holding on for dear life?
Kevin I've generally do move my left arm out of the wind a bit if the bike is stable enough. As a little fellow on the Rocket and with feet forward foot pegs I did need a bit more leverage to hang on. I pushing hard on both foot pegs to keep my feet on and pulling a bit with my arms to keep my top half on the bike.

Good news was no weave...which you know is an attention getter.

Jerry,
Being a tad bit of a dull tool in the preservation gene area does indeed help; however, mostly the chief criteria is most definitely GIANTIC EGGS!!!!

Hey boss I've ridden with your group of Rocket 3 riders and I'd say I'm above average courage wise compared to you and your group.
