I Think Noresman had an issue as well with the ceramic coating.
Yes I did. I contacted Ric and he explained that the issue (which happened primarily around the weld points for the heat shield) had to do with some treatment of the material around the welds that didn't take the ceramic well.
Ric and the folks at Reband seem very dedicated to the quality of their product and I was pretty happy with the way the handled my complaint. There was some talk of reimbursement for getting them re-coated but it wasn't written in stone so we'll see what happens when I get the bill and pass it along to them.
ALSO it's important to remember that with the reband exhaust is included a carbon fiber heat shield. I didn't like the look of it but after hitting it with some semi-gloss oven paint it actually looks pretty **** good. I wasted $360 paying a local "custom shop" to make me a steel heat shield and it looked like a 13 year old kid took the afternoon making it with tools he found in his step-dad's garage... total waste of money. POINT IS the Reband heat shield needed a little trimming to fit around the master cylinder but it's quite good and should be factored into the price they're quoting.
