Having spent a lifetime on sportsbikes and track days etc I never really expected much from the shox on a cruiser. In my limited cruiser experience i found they all wallowed around corners like a fkn escaping Haggis (you know two long legs and two short legs) and the universal solution for all four cruiser rides HD, Triumph America, Yam Dragstar and Rocket is to make the bugger squat around corners. If you drive through the corner on positive throttle and sit the arse end down they behave reasonably well and more predictably. Go through on roll off or no positive drive and enjoy the show, or not depending upon your faith in the tarmac and bikes ability to weave back to a controlled situation. As for straight line riding I dont particularly find the shoxs bad - my fourpenneth. Save yourself a grand (AUS dollars) and give it a try.
Oh and watch out for too much throttle and high sides - for those who read the Scotland thread, who the hell am I to listen to?? :lol: :lol: :lol:

What shox have you fitted and do they improve aggrssive cornering, just cornering generally, and or straight line lumps and bumps?
Improves hard cornering , get on pwer harder and sooner , with the added plus of comfort for both rider and pillion . No jarring when you hit the potholes and humps on the wonderfully smooth uk roads .
