Rear brake fail

You don't need a recall. Take it to the dealers and tell them it's spongy and unsafe to ride. They will ride it and then under warranty fix it. Sounds like you may have a Rocket like mine that has quite a few bugs to work out before it stays on the road. I'm on my second brake bleed currently. This new ABS modulator may be the only fix. I hope not but so far so good with my rear brake. Hang in there.
 
It doesn't do it all the time. I'll definetely have them bleed it and hope that it's not the modulator. I'm almost to the 600 mile wrench reset anyway. Boy, they got ya by the 'nads on these things.
 
I know there is a Recall for the Rear Brake (Rocket 3's) but it only suggests bleeding the system again anyway....
 
I’ve; had mine bled 3 times lasts about 4 weeks then same again.
 
Mine completely failed yesterday. Just drops with no braking what so ever. Now I have to take book a time with the dealer and waste a day.

Amazing how they just keep bleeding the system and repeating the same useless procedure, basically putting a band aide on it, rather than looking for a permanent fix.
It is absurd that Triumph isn't coming up with a solution for something that should be straight forward, and it doesn't seem (from dealership actions) that something is in the works to permanently fix this sh!t.
That's a d@mn shame.
 
I've had mine done twice in a year but my dealership has since ordered I believe it's an ABS pump which they hope will solve the problem permanently. It was ordered about 2 months ago and last week they said it will arrive in another 4 weeks. Yes it's all covered by warranty. I don't have a part number for this ABS pump at the moment, but I'll let you know when I do.
 
How many times was your bike in for this? Everyone should be filing a complaint with the NHTSA. Maybe it could get some attention then. Maybe.
 
Yes 3 times bled when It has drove les than 5000 kilometers. But it's working now and drove 21.000 km
